ZyCoV-D, the plasmid DNA vaccine designed & developed by ZydusUniverse & partially funded by DBT India has initiated Phase I/ II clinical trials in healthy subjects, making it the first indigenously developed vaccine for COVID19 to be administered in humans in India.
