Union Minister RS Prasad addressed press conference on Electronic Manufacturing Scheme.He said, "The PLI Scheme is a landmark initiative towards AatmaNirbharBharat - a self-reliant India. PLI scheme has been huge success in terms of response received from Global as well as Domestic Mobile manufacturing companies." He also told as "PLI Scheme shall extend an incentive of 4% to 6% on incremental sales of goods manufactured in India to eligible companies, for a period of five years subsequent to the base year (FY2019-20)" .
