Pakistani Army initiates unprovoked Ceasefire Violation along LoC

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani Army initiated unprovoked Ceasefire Violation along the Line of Control spread across multiple sectors in the north Kashmir districts of Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora at Dawar, Keran, Uri & Naugam sectors.

Defence Spokesperson Col Rajesh Kalia said that Pakistan used Mortars & other weapons and deliberately targeted the civilian areas which resulted into the killing of three civilians in Uri Sector of Baramulla district.

Three Army soldiers and one Border Security Force (BSF) Sub Inspector  Rakesh Doval also attained martyrdom while three soldiers sustained injuries.

The Army Spokesperson said that Indian Army retaliated strongly which caused substantial damage to Pakistan Army infrastructure and casualities across the LoC. Several ammunition dumps, FOL dumps and multiple terrorist launch pads have been damaged. Details are awaited.
