Ministry of Tribal Affairs to fill up around 3 thousand 4 hundred teaching staff vacancies

Ministry of Tribal Affairs through its autonomous body, the National Education Society for Tribal Students will fill up around 3 thousand 4 hundred vacancies of teaching staff in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools, EMRS in 17 States.

The application process for it will be opened from 1st of next month. This will result in positioning of quality human resources in the EMRSs resulting in improved educational standards. The teaching staff in four different posts of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs and TGTs will be recruited through a centralized computer-based test followed by interviews to be conducted by States. The recruitment shall be done state-wise based on state specific vacancy.

The recruitment process has been initiated jointly with States in order to meet the rising demand of teachers for the clear vacancies.

The portal for receiving the applications will open from 1st April to 30th April with the exams tentatively scheduled in 1st week of June. For details of the portal and the final dates, people can visit sites, nta.ac.in and tribal.nic.in .

The scheme of EMRS is a flagship intervention of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to provide quality education to the tribal students in the tribal areas of the country.
