The Govt allocated Rs. 73,000 crore for MGNREGS for 2021-222

The Government of India has allocated Rs. 73,000 crore at Budget Estimate stage for current financial year 2021-22 for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (Mahatma Gandhi NREGS) which is an increase of Rs. 11,500 crore as compared to Budget Estimate for the financial year 2020-21.More than 25 lakh assets have been created in the current FY 2021-22 so far.
